There are issues at USC with the football program......The issue is USC being called the Miami of the West.
Carroll, USC's coach, does not accept the negative characterization.
"I don't like it," he said. "I don't like it at all."
There was a day when Miami stars were as likely to be seen on Court TV as on ESPN. Oklahoma and Florida State were cut from the same cloth.
USC has received similar unwanted national exposure of late.
