Back in Running Form - Inland Empire Press-Enterprise
Tailback Chauncey Washington returned to running with USC's first team on occasion Monday, and tailback Michael Coleman returned, period, after missing three practices last week.

"He looked pretty good," USC coach Pete Carroll said of Washington, a 220-pound redshirt junior who was practicing with the first team until straining his hamstring 2 ½ weeks ago. "If he can make it through practices Tuesday and Wednesday, we'll see."

So will Washington, who said he was "at 100 percent" even if he held a bit back on his first full day returning to action.

"I feel like I can play, but we'll see after we go in pads," Washington said of Saturday's opener at Arkansas (5:45 p.m., ESPN).
