Most likely that’s one of the reasons he is bringing his team in Thursday, a day earlier than usual. Carroll learned about the heat and humidity of Arkansas when he was a graduate assistant for Frank Broyles.

Still, humidity is like elevation: You can adjust to it, but usually not in two or three days.

The humidity certainly won’t hurt Arkansas’ chances, because when the Trojans go out at night in Los Angeles, they need a jacket. Here they will need a towel...
