...Patterson's speed, agility and playmaking abilities have already made him as dangerous as some of his hulking teammates with more menacing monikers such as "Shark" (6-3, 230-pound linebacker Keith Rivers), "Beef" (6-4, 245-pound linebacker Brian Cushing) and "The Rolling 300s" (the offensive line stocked with 300-pounders).

Remember this name: Travon Patterson. At Poly, where he caught 25 passes for 700 yards (28.0 average) and 15 touchdowns last season, he ran 100 meters with a personal best of 10.44 seconds.

Patterson has the arms that have given fall camp some of its wildest and most thrilling receptions. Coach Pete Carroll entrusts those hands enough to handle backup punt and kickoff return duties...
