USC's O-Line hit by injuries - Inland Empire Press-Enterprise
Normally it's called "Turnover Wednesday," but the only turnover on this day was in the offensive line, where the top-ranked Trojans were down two starters, center Matt Spanos and right guard Chilo Rachal, as they practiced with only eight bodies on the line.

"Everybody has to play everywhere," Coach Pete Carroll told his team now that senior Spanos could be out "for at least a few weeks," with an unusual triceps muscle tear suffered Tuesday while double-teaming nose tackle Sedrick Ellis.
