The guest list to USC football practices and games sometimes is a "Who's Who" for Entertainment Tonight, yet only three have left Trojans coach Pete Carroll star struck: Four-time USC national championship coach John McKay, three-time World Series winning manager Sparky Anderson and Will Ferrell......But, Ferrell...is the only one who has actually participated in full football gear in an actual Trojans practice. In 2003, when USC was preparing to play Michigan in the Rose Bowl, Carroll and Ferrell conspired to have the movie star suit up in...uniform. The USC coach informed his team before practice that a member of a USC fraternity had expressed a desire to compete with the team because, Carroll said, "he thinks he can help us."
Ferrell finally arrived...wearing a full USC uniform...
