Tyler cleared - OC Register
It's easy to forget that Marc Tyler was one of USC's most prized recruits last spring. The Trojans went into camp with so many tailbacks, it became clear they wouldn't need Tyler this season.
Then X-rays showed the bone in the leg he fractured last season hadn't fully healed once the screws were removed. Tyler missed all but one day of fall camp.
Now, Tyler will finally get a chance to prove he belongs. Coach Pete Carroll announced today that Tyler has been cleared to begin practicing on Monday.
Tyler admitted it probably would be best for him to redshirt this season, but said he is anxious to get on the practice field nonetheless...
