...4. RB Joe McKnight: McKnight has been banged up a bit during practice, but once he's healthy he'll get the football for the Trojans. The coaching staff raves about his ability, and he's being compared to...Reggie Bush. The running back situation at USC once looked very crowded, but now it's thinning out...

...5. WR Ronald Johnson: Dwayne Jarrett and Steve Smith are gone, and much of the attention is going to Patrick Turner, Vidal Hazelton and David Ausberry. Those players certainly deserve attention, but Johnson is going to play this season. There are offensive packages in place with him in mind.
