Washington must wait until hamstring heals - OC Register
USC's projected starting tailback, Chauncey Washington, expected to be back at practice by now in helmet and full pads, with clearance for contact and without limitations.

But as of Wednesday, Washington remained a huge question mark because of the left hamstring he injured Aug. 7. He was limited to jogging while the freshman backfield looked all too eager to take the handoffs he expected to be his.

Washington, a fourth-year junior, has been reluctant to talk about the injury, which might prevent him from starting in the opener...
