If USC played a game today, freshman C.J. Gable (Sylmar High) would probably start at tailback, especially after proving he can perform against the Trojans' best defense.Gable scored on a 24-yard touchdown run against the first-team defense, a rarity in Sunday's scrimmage because most of the stats were piled up against the scout team.
