1. John David Booty, USC — No first-year quarterback will have as many weapons at his disposal as Booty. He’s got a deep receiving corps — headlined by a current All-American (Dwayne Jarrett), a future All-American (sophomore Patrick Turner) and a pair of steady seniors (Steve Smith and Chris McFoy) — a talented, but untested, tailback (Chauncey Washington) and an offensive line that ranks among the finest in the country.
