Aerial attack fuels USC - Daily Trojan
Nearly everything about USC's 34-7 victory over the "Herd" during Sunday night's 81-play scrimmage before 15,000 people at the Coliseum felt like a real game.

There was the marching band, thousands of screaming fans (although most of the crowd noise was simulated) and an impressive performance by the first team on both offense and defense against the Trojan reserves - also known as the "Herd."

The only thing that didn't feel real was the fake jet flyover after the Spirit of Troy finished playing the national anthem. But once the scrimmage got rolling, so did the first-team offense...
