We’re in the playroom, where there will soon be a pool table and a large flat-screen television. A Napoleon Dynamite doll and an unopened bottle of Dom Pérignon are perched on the built-in bar. Leinart moved into his brand-new, 6,000-square-foot house only five days ago. His mom came to help, filling soap dispensers and folding bath towels. Today Dad is here, bringing his son a supply of dress suits and a direct-deposit bank slip courtesy of Leinart’s new team, the Arizona Cardinals. Mom and Dad are protective. It’s the first time their son has lived more than a 45-minute drive from his childhood home in Santa Ana, Calif...
