Campus voted 'best neighbor' - Daily Trojan
...This week, the New England Board of Higher Education has recognized USC as the nation's "Best Neighbor" among a list of 25 schools through research compiled by Evan Dobelle, the organization's president and CEO.

"USC has been on the curve of trying to help Los Angeles," Dobelle said. "They founded a medical school because the community didn't have a medical school.
