The USC football team is asking more out of David Buehler this season by telling him to do less. It's no surprise that Buehler has found the assignment occasionally baffling.Last year, Buehler competed for playing time at fullback and safety, plus got on the field on special teams. Kicking the ball a long way was only part of what he did well.
But the Santa Ana Junior College transfer has just one assignment this year. He is the place kicker.
Buehler is replacing Mario Danelo, who was as consistent as the tax man...
