Ride switch led to Francis' death - LA Daily NewsUSC point guard Ryan Francis was supposed to get a ride home from a high-school teammate before a last-minute change of plans that led to his shooting death early Saturday in Baton Rouge, La.
Francis was going to leave a party with Loyola of New Orleans guard Torry Beaulieu, who also attended Glen Oaks High of Baton Rouge. But another friend offered Francis a ride home because Beaulieu lived on the other side of town.
