Ride switch led to Francis' death - LA Daily News
USC point guard Ryan Francis was supposed to get a ride home from a high-school teammate before a last-minute change of plans that led to his shooting death early Saturday in Baton Rouge, La.

Francis was going to leave a party with Loyola of New Orleans guard Torry Beaulieu, who also attended Glen Oaks High of Baton Rouge. But another friend offered Francis a ride home because Beaulieu lived on the other side of town.

"Ryan was going to ride home with Torry, but another guy said, ride home with me," USC coach Tim Floyd said...
