...White was unaware of the Titans' lukewarm history of second-round picks. After free-falling through the first round despite an impressive college body of work, he was relieved to hear his name called as the No. 45 selection in the draft.

He says he has "a 31-team chip on my shoulder," because every other NFL team had passed on him at least once.

"I don't worry about past picks," he said. "I don't compare myself to anybody else. I don't know who their past second-round picks have been. …

"Now that I'm here with the Tennessee Titans, I want to be with all my teammates and try to make them better and they'll try to make me better. That's all that matters."...
