USC's trend in takeaways and turnovers still troubling - Inland Empire Press-Enterprise
As it's been for all seven of Pete Carroll's seasons at USC, yesterday was "Turnover Wednesday."

The Trojans, bigger, faster and deeper on defense than ever, stripped and punched the ball loose in drills, grabbed it out of the air and pounced on it on the ground, cradling it safely in their arms before settling in to watch the "ballhawk" highlight videos after practice.

Those practices are great. It's the "no-turnover Saturdays" that are the problem...
