While watching most of the USC-Washington State game last week, I was struck with how well the Cougars were playing. They were in the entire game and if one did not know any better, it would be hard to tell which team was ranked in the top ten in the country.Certainly the Trojans showed their ability to hang in there until the end and capitalize on every opportunity, but the game was not supposed to go down to the wire. Pete Carroll let out a big sigh of relief after the game. Yes, they were playing in Pullman on a Saturday night, and I have heard things can get crazy up there. But the question remains, are the Trojans overrated?...
