...So why USC-Washington State in 2006?
First, it was a darned good game. Both teams had moments on offense and defense, there were big plays, the atmosphere was electric and the outcome wasn't assured until the scoreboard clock hit zero.
The second part, we won't know until season's end. The Trojans appear capable of running the table for a third straight year against Pac-10 competition. And don't be surprised if the Cougars are nipping at their heels in the standings...
