Defenders Thomas and Ellison Speed Along in Recovery - LA Times
...Pete Carroll instructed several players recovering from surgeries to throw caution to the wind and test themselves.

Cornerback Terrell Thomas and safety Kevin Ellison seemed to take Carroll's words to heart and showed they are well on their way to the starting lineup in the fall.

Thomas, who suffered torn knee ligaments in the second game against Arkansas last season, broke up several passes intended for flanker Steve Smith and split end Dwayne Jarrett.
