WSYR has confirmed with the USC Sports Information Department that Syracuse University and the University of Southern California have verbally agreed to a home and home football series for the 2011 and 2012 season. USC told WSYR that not all the details have been finalized.As per the agreement, SU would travel to Los Angeles in 2011 and USC would come to Syracuse in 2012.
Syracuse Athletic Director Daryl Gross has ties to USC. Gross was the senior associate athletic director at Southern Cal prior to coming to SU.
