Shortly after the Giants drafted Steve Smith in the second round in April, he got a call from Sinorice Moss, whom the Giants took in the second round the year before. The conversation quickly turned to the future - their future as the dynamic receiving duo for the Giants......Moss immediately embraced their selection of Smith.
"Watching him in college, I was like 'Wow, that's a good wide receiver,'" Moss said. "So when we drafted him, I was happy. I gave him a call and told him 'Welcome to the team.'"
"I was pretty surprised," said Smith, the 5-11, 195-pound, USC product. "He welcomed me to the team, told me he was happy that they picked me and that he was excited to meet me. I'm just glad he called me."...
