Turning the corner - Daily Trojan
After three consecutive close victories and a rash of injuries, last week's bye week couldn't have come at a more opportune time for the Trojans, but it is yet to be seen if the time off will translate to success against Oregon State on Saturday in Corvallis, Ore.

USC coach Pete Carroll has been stressing the importance of the bye week because it allowed injured players the chance to heal and it allowed younger players more opportunity to show what they can do.
