They are the Holy Trinity of college football. Michigan, Ohio State, Notre Dame. The Father, the Son, the Holy Ghost.

We pray at their collective altar all those Saturdays in the fall.

And isn't that what college football is in the Midwest? A religion?...

...Southern Cal has shattered the myth of the Holy Trinity. Since 1970, USC is 10-2 against Michigan and Ohio State in the Rose Bowl. Notre Dame has lost five straight times to USC. Four of those loses were by four touchdowns or more...
