Former NFL Player Heading Local Mortgage Firm - The Chattanoogan
A former pro football player living in Chattanooga has been tapped to head the local office of a major mortgage lending firm.

"I actually managed my own investments while I played football and worked in the financial industry during the off-season," said Bradford Banta, who heads the newly established local office of JP Morgan/Chase...

...Mr. Banta played with the Indianapolis Colts, New York Jets, Detroit Lions and Buffalo Bills before suffering a broken shoulder in December, 2003...

...Although the former tight end and long snapper has a new job, he's not new to Chattanooga. He and his wife Amy and their two girls moved here from Detroit two years ago...
