The day Kevin Thomas signed his name and faxed a letter of intent to USC, he said that he planned to spend one year learning the ropes and then start in his second season.High aspirations, considering his reason for going to USC was that the Trojans get the best of the best prep recruits, and he wanted to be considered among them.
But the former Rio Mesa player participated in USC's final spring practice Tuesday as a starting cornerback on the Trojans' final spring depth chart.
