One day after treating Vanderbilt quarterback Jay Cutler to an 18-inch New York strip steak in Nashville, the Jets' brass yesterday moved on to L.A. to take a long look at USC QB Matt Leinart.According to someone who was at the private workout, Leinart threw passes to Reggie Bush while Jet head coach Eric Mangini, offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer and GM Mike Tannenbaum looked on.
Leinart was scheduled to dine with Mangini, Schottenheimer and Tannenbaum last night.
