USC Students Spend Spring Break 'Giving Back' - KCAL-TV
...about 250 students will travel within the United States and abroad on special trips designed for students to lend a helping hand and learn about social issues.

This year’s contingent will be its largest since the program began in 1991. Trips are planned to about 10 different places such as Guatemala, Mexico, Death Valley National Park and the Gulf Coast region, where students will assist on post-Katrina recovery efforts.
