C.J. Gable had to prove to only two factions that he could be a collegiate running back: Himself and everybody else.Apparently, the USC freshman is big on self-motivation.
"Most everybody thought I wasn't a good back,'' Gable said. "They said I was too little to be playing running back at the next level. I just wanted to prove them wrong if I had the opportunity to play running back.''
As Gable walked off the Trojans' practice field Tuesday, he was figuratively steps away from making history at the school...
